Dinousaur Displays (in colour)

This is an amazing exhibit of a whale. I don't know if it is from the dinosaur era, but it looks like the brief. There were several entries of this display, but this was the best one. The composition, exposure, lighting, and shutter speed to reduce blur are spot on. Well done for 2nd Place.

This is a perfect specimen of an amphibious mosasaur (reptile), which separates it from the land animals such as T-Rex dinosaur. These creatures were as long as a house and extreme aquatic predators. The photography is excellent and the background is perfect for this display. Congratulations to this 4th Place winner.

This display looks like it is constructed from the actual bones and cartilage of a dinosaur. That may not be the case, but this image wins the prize for the most authentic appearance of a prehistoric animal. The lighting is great as is the sharpness. This was an easy choice for 3rd Place. Great shot.

The background complements this excellent example of the brief, as does the juvenile version of this dinosaur. The lighting, exposure, shadows, and composition add interest to the picture. The landscape format is perfect for the scene. It has been a pleasure to see displays like this from all over the world. Well done, winner #5!

This sharp, clear, complete, well-composed, well-exposed, well-enhanced entry earns First Place. There were many good images in this contest, so it was not easy to select the Top Ten. The pictures that showed as much of a dinosaur as possible prevailed. This replica seems to be made of metal, which is unique. Congratulations #1!
