Doors

Our winner this month has really thought about their composition by choosing to shoot from a high angle to capture something unique. The use of a wide aperture to create a shallow depth of field really draws the eye in to the door handle, which is the clear focal point of the image. The light has cast nice hot spots on the handle and the door giving the image contrast and texture. The vibrance of the blue contrasting with the orange and browns tones really makes this image stand out and the vignette finishes it off well.
