Doors and Entrances

I really like the simplicity of this photograph. The light on the door gives focus to the decor on the door. I like balance of light and shadow as it can be easy to over contrast a photo in edit, but this is measured and works well. Super image.

I really like the chaotic nature of all of the items hanging on the entrance doors with more items squeezed into this establishment. The framing balances the photo and I like the little pops of colour of the blue and pink chairs on the horizontal mirroring the copper pans above. Well spotted by the photographer.

This photo is a clever interpretation of the theme. The contrast of the ornamental gate against the sky at sunset is very pleasing to the eye. I also like how the photographer has used the silhouette of a person to give scale to the entrance. A worthy winner, well done :)
