There has been (few but) nice entries in this competition, but for me the full frame and the eye contact you two established, were absolutely decisive whilst choosing the winner. Well done.

“Drag Queens” are fascinating, colourful and fun. Show me your best images of “Drag Queens”. The pictures need to be in colour, as black & white shall not be considered whilst judging. Please do not enter photographs from fashion photo shoots nor the Venetian carnivals, as those are masks, not drag queens. The crowd is kindly asked to rate as “not on brief” those photographs which do no respect the brief. Have fun!
Congratulations on getting your photo commended Julian. For me, this image could have been a winner with a few adjustments; To start with, I love her body language, the quirky background, the grunge floor and the dim light. But in order to give this photo a “winner” chance, I would definitely have removed the guy on the left, since (imho) it’s a distracting element which takes the attention away from the main subject. Either way, you’ve captured an interesting image with a good potential, and it deserved recognition. Well done Julian.
