Drone Photography

Another worthy top 10 image, I just love this composition and mixed in with some amazing light and mist just makes you stare at how cool this location must be. The exposure appears to be spot-on from the top right corner highlights to the shadows on the mills themself, thus making this such a detail-rich image.

Such an amazing image and a worthy winner, as soon as I saw this one I knew it was going to do well, and it was a pleasure to be looking at it a few times as I worked through all the other images. Really good use of elevation and you have also captured the movement in the water along with the rugged nature of the coast, making this shot really stand out.

WOW, such a great capture, so much movement and the detail is on point too. What I love is the colour of the sea as well. But upon closer inspection, I like how within the composition the whites of the water all seem to swirl into the middle of the frame and congregate there.

Another great example of how drones can give a whole different point of view in the landscape and you have done a great job of showing that with the amazing amount of details in the rocks and trees, then with the great exposure you have preserved so much of the white in the water as well.

Another great example of how drones can work so well with landscape images. A really well-balanced image with the hedgerows running to the point of interest and then you have all the footprints in the snow that you would not have normally seen. The choice to present this in Black and White just adds to everything amazing about the shot

Another worthy top 10 image, what makes it work so well is the lingering mist that gives a very atmospheric feel, but at the same time lots of details are preserved exactly where they need to be on the main structure that you have photographed, it really was worth making the effort to check out the location and conditions seemed to have been on your side too.

Absolutely top-tier image and well with the hard work and deduction you put into getting it. The centrally positioned composition and the pastel colours work so well in the image and I can just imagine the smile on your face when you were seeing the sky and you were shooting it

Areally well-taken image with the exposure so wee preserved that you have not clipped the highlights in the iceberg at all, with the darks of the ocean and those extreme whites I can only imagine it must have been a challenge to get the balance correct.

The cloud and light are just stunning in this image, with the light catching the cloud in the bottom left and then the building also being illuminated by it you can start to feel that warmth from it all, but the cloud rolling in the background is just adding yet another whole amazing dynamic to the image as a whole.

I absolutely love this, the details and light are just being worked to the max in the image and there is so much, yet so little to take in with the image. With each glance at it, you notice another cool thing about it, such as the foot prints and then the small ripples in the snow. Really well done with this

I just love this image, it shows so much movement in the sea but also as soon as you notice the person in the frame you get a sense of the scale of the pier. The best bit with this has to be the timing of the waves as they make their way to the beach

This was another of those images that went straight into the top 10 as there are so many elements that stand out and make it so amazing. The colours, the cloud, the light and even the composition as a whole are all just stunning. Perfect imagery indeed.

Another really powerful image, I really like the timing with the light as it trickles across the frame and creates some amazing shadows within the frame, that coupled with the amount of details preserved in the shot makes it a worthy highly commended shot

The landscape with some amazing leading lines running through the shot, coupled with the autumnal colours, you have a very nice image that is worthy of its highly commended status. The best bit is the use of portrait orientation and using that to fit the road within its boundary.

Really stunning light that falls the whole way through the shot and turns everything it touches to gold, I love that and it was a pleasure to add this to the highly commended list. The only 1 thing I would have changed was the island and the whites of the sea on the right-hand side of the frame, it would have been great if they did not run off the side of the frame
