Eggs (in colour)

I really liked the simplicity of this shot together with the contrast in light. The essence of the egg cleverly captured as a closeup showed the beautiful pigmentation of the outer shell giving the delicate nature of what an egg represents together with the whisk connecting its embodies in cooking.

Congrats on making it into the top ten. This little creature just instantly reminded me of ‘Jurassic Park’ and I absolutely adore this capture. The balanced colours, lighting and texture are excellent. It really is a clever shot to draw the viewer in. Congrats on top ten!

Congrats on being the top egg in this contest. So many photos were quite similar but this one stood out and was distinct to the others. It made me see the connection of time with the process of hatching an egg. The essence overall and total clarity was clearly focussed bringing a start contrast between the foreground an the dark background. Congrats well done!

What an interesting and colourful photo. The colours really stood out from the black background and the reflection added dimension to the shot. I loved the contrast too of the shell and the yolk. The cleverly setup displayed the centre piece as a piece of art. Well done!
