Open Rating Results
Brief

Environmental portraiture draws attention to a subject and their usual environment, and often tells a story about that person's life and surroundings. It could be a teacher in a classroom, a trader on a market stall, a hairdresser in a salon, a builder on a construction site, a jogger in a park, or just someone at home... the list goes on and on. Digital Photographer magazine and MindShift Gear are giving away great prizes in this contest – let's see your best environmental portraits.

Win MindShift Gear backpacks worth $460 USD and have your work printed in Digital Photographer magazine.

Prize details

The expert's winner, as chosen by Digital Photographer magazine, will win a MindShift Gear rotation180° Horizon 34L backpack (below in blue) worth $259.99 USD.

The expert's top 3 will be printed in the February 2017 issue of Digital Photographer – one of the UK's leading photography publications.

The crowd winner will receive a MindShift Gear UltraLight™ Dual 36L backpack (below in black) worth $199.99 USD, and will be printed in Digital Photographer's February 2017 issue.

How it works

Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.

Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
