Extreme Macro

Great focus stacking and and subject. I think ants are among the most interesting subjects to focus stack and I also like the natural colors of the background. The background might benefit from some cleaning up but all in all it's a wonderful image and a well managed stack. Thanks for participating in the contest and congratulations on first pace!

Flies aren't my favorite but what a perfect stack! A very complicated subject, with changes in color and hairs everywhere. I have tried similar difficulty subjects and they are very challenging and often require heavy fixing in post production. This is really a great job!
