First of all, I'd just like to say that this image is absolutely stunning. Your focus is immediately drawn to the subject's eyes, as the light within them is in stark contrast to the darker tones of the rest of the image. I also love the way the subject is looking straight into the lens, as it makes the image more dramatic. Having the subject slightly off centre in the image was also a great choice, and I love the use of the fingers holding onto the hood. Well done!
First of all, I love this photo. The genuine smile on the subject's face has been captured perfectly, and you can really see it in her eyes. The reflections visible in her eyes really help to draw your focus straight to them. The decision to focus on the eyes and have the background more out of focus was a good one, as this again really draws attention to the mode's face. You have captured an image that fits the brief perfectly, well done!
This image is really beautiful and elegant. Even though you can't see the colour of the subjects eyes, they really stand out. The small highlights you've captured in them really add emotion to the image. I also really like the way the model has her head slightly tilted, as it makes the composition of the image more interesting. An amazing shot, well done!
I can't express how much I love this photo. Even though there is a lot of shadow covering the eyes, the focus is still drawn directly to them. I love the look of raw emotion you've captured on the subject's face, and the lighting in this photo is perfect. The quality of the image is perfect, and the use of bokeh in the background again brings the focus to the subject's face. An amazing shot, well done!
I love this image so much. Even though the subject is quite a distance away from the camera, the eyes still stand out as a focal point for this photo. The way the lights have been used to cast shadows and highlights across the face make the eyes stand out even more. I love the blurred effect on the left side of the image, as it really helps to pull the viewer's eye to the model within the photo. Composition wise, I like the way the photo has been taken on an angle, and the model is not directly in the centre. I personally would've liked to see the photo taken a bit closer to the model's face; however, I really love this image. It stood out and fit the brief well, well done!
This is one of my favourite portraits that I've ever seen on here. The soft tones of the image compliment the fact that the photo is taken by water. I love how candid the shot is, and you've captured the models beauty perfectly. The slight reflection in her eyes really makes them stand out, as the brief requested. Composition wise, I would have loved for the photo to have been taken from a bit further away (to get more of the blurred background in;) however, I absolutely love the shot as a whole. The way in which it's been edited is very unique. Well done!
This image i so simple yet stunning. The young girl's eyes really are the focal point of the image, and the blue's in them really stand out in the natural lighting. Composition wise, I love the way the cake has been used to block out the bottom half of the subjects face, as I feel is makes it more interesting and adds to the youthfulness of the image as a whole. The strands of hair blowing in the wind add an extra bit of elegance to image, well done!
What a beautiful shot. The subject's eyes look stunning, and the reflections captured in them really help make them a focal point of the photo. The way the hair has been used to slightly frame the face makes her look very youthful. The image itself is very sharp and detailed, and you can see all of the tiny details in the model's eyes (even though the photo isn't very close to them.) Composition wise, I like the fact that there are objects in the foreground and the background, as they add interesting elements to the photo. You have captured an image that fits the brief perfectly, well done!
This is such a dark yet beautiful image, that really tells a story and leaves you wandering what the story behind it is. The use of the darkness around the model's eyes really helps draw your attention to them. Having the head tilted slightly forward casts a shadow over the face, which contrasts the bright highlights on the shoulder area. Having the model stare straight into the camera, again helps draw focus to the yes, and also makes the image more intense and dramatic. Composition wise, I love the way the model is slightly off centre, and you can't really see what is behind her (due to a good use of a shallow depth of field.) Such a unique capture, well done!
