Falling Snow

Congratulations for being my favorite photo of this contest. This photo is so sharp it almost doesn't seem real. Your exposure for snow is excellent and you were able to capture an interesting pose for this bird. I can't get enough of it.

This is a very beautiful candid portrait. Her hair contrasts and pops well with the environment around her. The focus is spot on and the subject looks comfortable and natural. The bokeh in the back accentuates the subject well. I overall just really enjoy this photo.

What a beautiful landscape! I love how simple yet powerful it seems. The pop of red from the church in this photo is just enough to add to this minimalistic scene. The falling snow adds to the blizzard-like feeling I get from this environment.

The composition of the photo is so great. I can imagine the story around it from all of the little things around this person. I like that everyone in this photo is looking to the right including the arrows. The colors pop to contrast with the subject front and center.

I personally know how difficult it is to photograph birds in flight especially in conditions such as these. The focus isn't perfect but I comment you for putting in the effort and still getting a good photo. It looks like you were trying the panning method to show a sense of speed in your photo and I can clearly see this with the long streaks of snow.
