This image struck me from the first moment I saw it and it has always been at the top of my list for the duration of the competition. In this photograph I find all the elements I was looking for in the title of my competition, the concept of "repetition and pattern" is very well seen here, the non-linearity of the building breaks the patterns and the idea of repetition that we all have in mind. I also really like the choice of monochromatic that fits perfectly with this style of photography. Good job.

What about this photo .... Here nature has really expressed itself as an artist by designing elements that are all different from each other but which together nevertheless form a unique, well distinguishable and fabulous repetition. In this photograph I find all the elements I was looking for in the title of my competition, the concept of "repetition and pattern" is very well seen here. Being a macro photo, we know that we must struggle with very shallow depth of field, probably I would have kept the diaphragm as closed as possible to have more depth of field and get in focus all parts of the animal. Anyway, a good job.

Repetition in daily life can often be boring, however, repeating shapes and colours can be a great way to add interest to your images. Join me and fellow photographers in this challenge and share your images of repetition and pattern. Looking forward to seeing your photos. If you enter more than one image, please don't post the same image multiple times, cropped or with tone changes. Images should be distinct. Good luck!

Meet the judge
I already knew this picture because I chose it as an example for the title of my competition .... In this case, the strength of the photo and its relevance to the theme, are precisely the scales of the iguana, almost all the same and arranged like the shingles of a roof to create a very nice repetitive pattern. Very good photographer to select the right detail of the animal, the height of shooting very low to the ground and the right lighting. In this photograph I find all the elements I was looking for in the title of my competition, the concept of "repetition and pattern" is very well seen here. Being a macro photo, we know that we must struggle with very shallow depth of field, here almost all the important parts of the animal are properly focused, perhaps with a smaller aperture you could have more depth of field, but they are settings to try from time to time and very often there is not time to do it.
Anyway a very well done job.
