A lot of work went into putting together this image. The impressive outfit appears to be custom made and the floating fabric around the dress I assume was extremely tricky to coordinate. The addition of fog, and the location matches the model and outfit perfectly, in my opinion. Overall, this photo is dynamic, extremely detailed, and seemingly required a lot of thought, time, and effort to put together. Without the typical shock value of other images, this one is definitely my top choice. Congratulations.

I absolutely love this portrait. The lighting is subdued, rather than too punchy. The composition is spot on. You're use of background lighting matches the main light, creating just the right amount to define the subject's features. My only suggestion would be to fill in the shadows on the dark side of her face just a little to keep her face from becoming to contrasted. But that's just a minor detail. Other than that, it's a stellar photograph.

Wow. This is an amazing and dynamic photo. The use of light, strong colors, and accessories really make this image stand out. It gives me a sense of the endless pursuit of perfection. I'm positive your client was very pleased with this image. My only suggestion would be to position the light just a little more to her left to prevent its reflection in her glasses. But that's just a minor detail. I'm extremely pleased with your work, this image caught my attention right away.

Very nice! I really like your use of lighting and location. The outfit and colors are a great match. I'm always a fan of natural colors, and I feel like you really pulled it off!

Only two things I feel might need some improvement. The shadows on the model are too different from the setting. The background and foliage have a broader contrast spectrum, whereas the light on the model is a bit harsher. I feel like the difference in contrast prevents me from seeing the model as a part of the environment, which I think is an important part of any photograph that involves people and nature. Also, the staff in the background is a bit distracting from the subject. Perhaps placing it in a different location or removing it altogether might work.

Overall, I love your composition, planning, posing, your model, and your post processing. Wonderful job!

I must admit, it's refreshing to see high fashion imagery that incorporates male models. About 95% of the images submitted to this photo contest were of women. It's always nice to see photographers make use of both genders. The use of lighting really defines his features on the face as well as his physique. Your use of muted colors is a great demonstration that bold is not always better. My one suggestion is to bring down the lighter portion of the background in the upper left of the image. I can't tell if it's a hotspot from the back light, or if it was added in post. It's a little distracting, but otherwise this image is superb. Great job.
