It's very hard to pick a winning image. Everything seems to work with the model, and her surroundings. The blue, oranges and brown colours are lovely, and complement each other. You feel yourself sinking into the underwater world with the subject. The diagonal shapes of light and dark in the background echo the model. Fabulous pose.
The colours and tones work really well. The vertical lines make a striking background, along with the horizontal lines of the car. The red colour of the blouse and the red in the skirt pop out at you. The skirt would have looked even better if the creases had been smoothed out, as the sunlight is strong. The exposure is spot on, none of the highlights are burnt out.
The colours are beautiful. The background has been carefully chosen to compliment the dress and necklace. I love the eye contact with the model, it draws you into the picture. If I was to nit pick at all, I would just say to be careful of stray hairs on the face, as your eye is drawn to this area. The dress looks very neat, with no extra creases anywhere, and the necklace stands out against the dress. This is a stunning image.
This is in my top ten, as it's such a fun image. I love the action, with the model caught in mid-air, with the sand being kicked up during the jump. The exposure looks correct. I would just like to see a tiny bit more light in the dress, as whites can end up looking a bit dirty otherwise. I can see light in the middle part of the dress, but not lower down. I'm just nit-picking as this is a fashion contest. The colours and tones of the whole image are so dreamy.
The soft blue sky sets off the main subject beautifully. The flowers add interest and their texture echoes the texture of the dress. The styling of the model works so well, not a hair out of place! I love both the expression on the models face, and the pose. There is just the right amount of reflection to light up the subject, the colour would have been too dull without it. Such a gorgeous image.
A great shot, perfect for black and white. You have to look twice to see if it is a real person, as this is such a detailed mannequin. She is in a pose but the arms of the jumpsuit are a giveaway, as they are hanging loosely, which tells us something is not quite right. This is a good thing though. The composition with the lines work really well. There is just enough detail in the shadows. I feel drawn into the picture.
This is a great image. The use of black and white is just right. I like the spacing between the models, and also the people sitting down in the background. The exposure looks correct. Just one small thing; to me, this image looks over sharpened. I can see lines around the models, and the people in the background, so it may be an idea to go back a stage and check this.
This picture really works for me due to the warm colours, composition, outfit and model pose. The styling is great. The chair acts as a frame around the model. I'm loving the hair and earings too. Just one small thing, and it is only small; the sockets in the background are a little distracting for me. On a positive point, the light is flattering and gives depth to the image.

Fashion - clothing, footwear, lifestyle, accessories, makeup, hairstyle, and body posture that are specific to a particular period or place. In photography we tend to think of portraiture, often full-length, that is advertising clothing or beauty products, and gracing the pages of a magazine or a billboard. And for this contest we’re focussing on just that - fashion portraiture that has that look of an advert or a magazine spread. It might be straight, it might be quirky, maybe in a studio or maybe out on location, but it is likely to look deliberate, with a focus on what the subject is wearing, and without the feel of a snapshot.

The texture and colour in this image is fabulous. The focus on the model works well as the background begins to blur. The natural surrounding is stunning, this is such a great choice of location. If I was shooting this image, I may have used a reflector just to bring an extra light in front of the model to light up the lower part of the face and front of the dress a smidge. This is a beautiful image, and I love the model's expression and pose.
