A fantastic image that deserves a space on a gallery wall. Very artful, with a painterly quality, full of impressionism and mood, dominated by changing light and colour made all the more visual with the arrangement of anonymous bodies across the whole frame; some fading into the coloured fog, others more prominent.. The clever use of a slow shutter speed with a sharp depth of field has helped in giving this wonderful image it's esoteric, painterly feel. A clear winner.

A wonderfully strong image full of bold colours, and the fact that no faces are shown, or any context is given in the picture as to what is going on; just a lot of hands thrust into the clouds of pink, purples and yellows, makes it all the more arresting.. A great image.

I really like the way the photographer has looked beyond the obvious aesthetic qualities of the fireworks and included the surface of the water in the middle of the frame reflecting the light, as well as the crowd arranged along the bottom of the photograph.. Having a slow shutter speed adds to the overall effect of the image.

A wonderful image, made all the more poignant with it's sophisticated use of the arrangement of it's subjects throughout the frame, all bathed in light and deep in reflective thought, surrounded by strong colours and textures. A very complex, sophisticated and beautifully lit photograph.

An image full of action and drama, capturing horses in full flight, but the busy background unfortunately takes away some of the visual impact of the photograph. Maybe if taken from a lower angle with more sky in the picture, the photo would have been cleaner and more dramatic.

A strong, dynamic image, full of tension and drama. I love the shape of the horse, and the way it looms over the dancer. Both woman and beast are engaged in a dramatic dance in the dust. A great image.
