Foggy Forests Covered in Frost

Great winter scene... The composition is well done, all elements are good balanced and the water stream brings nicely the viewer attention in the center of the image. Also the weather conditions are perfect for a moody winter shot. Well done!

The frosty tree is a nice subject in a good contrast between the coniferous forest. I also like the cold chromatic of the photo and the moody low fog. It's hard to take a good minimalist shot with a forest and a clear subject, but here is a great example. For the 100mm f/2.8 macro lens, maybe I would have chosen a large aperture to isolate a little bit more the subject. Well done!

Superb winter scene, almost I feel the cold air into my lungs. Nice story in this shot with great composition and I like the combination between all the textures (forest & lake). A single thing I'll change is a small crop in the right part to eliminate that telegraph pole. Well done!

Great moody scene with the well known Yosemite view. A landscape with so much to offer. In this cloudy and low light conditions colors are very pale, so the black and white conversion is a good option. I like the b&w shots to be well contrasted, so maybe here a little more contrast it would have helped, but very careful with blacks into the bottom right corner. Well done!

Nice moody picture with good composition. It's hard to keep the natural foggy atmosphere and low contrast after post processing but you did a great job here! I also like the chromatic, and even the shot it's a little bit crowded with all the vegetation, you manage to find a balanced composition. Well done!

Great post processing, you recovered nicely the bright areas near the sun and also keep the low contrast shadows. The atmosphere and subject in this picture is really nice. The panoramic crop looks good but maybe I would have cut a little more from the right side. Not too much interest in that clear sky corner. Well done!
