Food from above

Brief

Overhead food photography is a neat way to show what’s on a plate. It allows for some fun with place settings, side dishes, drinks and the like. It’s extremely popular as a way of documenting food choices and recipes on Instagram, and shooting from above also means that the room in which the food is being shot becomes less important, and so potentially makes for an easier shoot. To be on brief, imagery must be shot from directly above the food, and not from an angle.
