Frogs

With so many great photos in this competition, it was hard to narrow down the top 10. But this image stood out for a number of reasons...the eyes, the colours, the delicate nature of both the frog and the flowers, great use of depth of field....all making this is stunning image. Well done!!!

This is a wonderful example of how balanced colours enhance an image. The blue eye stands out against the yellows and greens and there is a lovely softness to this image. The focus of the image is solely on the frog too. Great job!

I love this image. The abstract-like background really makes this image pop. The quizzical expression and shallow depth of field draws the viewer into the frogs face. The angle of the shot and subtle colours are spot on. Fantastic capture!!!

This is a great image which stood out for me. It can be difficult to photograph a frog in the wild but the pond setting, range of green colours and the facial expression is perfect. All together a great combination. Love it!!

I could not help but be drawn into this photograph. The clarity of the frogs face is spot on. The added detail of the bubbles around the mouth along with the great reflection makes this a fantastic image. Good job!

What a wonderful capture! I love the balance of the three frogs and the fantastic graduation of colours from left to right. The low angle of the shot draws the view in closer. Good use of background blur too. Great image!!!
