What a fun image! I love how much this mushroom resembles a miniature lamp. Wonderful job with lighting; the cap of mushroom appears to be glowing, just as a lamp and lightbulb would. I also really like the low depth of field you’ve used to isolate the fungus here. Well done!

I love the combination of colors and shapes in this photograph. It’s nice to see the mushrooms out of their original context and paired with other delicacies; it underscores fungi’s many different roles. Great attention to detail and great job filling the frame, as well.

For a brief moment, I almost thought I was looking at a photo of a seabed instead of the forest floor. It’s so fascinating to find visual parallels within different ecosystems! I really like the low vantage point here, and the layers of ferns in the foreground add nice context. Well done!

I’m not accustomed to seeing fungus in snow, so this image was a fun surprise! Great job capturing the shelf fungus while it’s holding something. I like the low depth of field you’ve used to isolate the fungus here and blur the forest in the background; the muted color palette also adds a nice touch and helps create a quiet, peaceful scene.
