Just a really stunning shot - the image has that real autumnal view but also feels as if it is being captured from the earth floor - the mist swirling gives the impression of a moment before the morning swirl engulfs it - the hint of red coming through and the brown fern framing it naturally - - a great shot worthy of first place - congratulations Tarquin Shaw-Young FEAA

A lovely capture of a moment in time as the large parasol begins to decompose - the gills falling back on themselves and the weight and strain of the head above is evident the bend in the stalk - the shot at first seems to resemble an old wise man with the curves like greying hair blown by the wind The mushroom is the definite star of the image congratulations Tarquin Shaw-Young FEAA

I love this shot - the mushrooms have a lizard like quality - like a snake emerging from the crack in the log where it has been sleeping - The two heads squeezing out of the tear in the log - you can feel the energy as they seek out the light We couldn't get any closer and the shot is crisp and overmuch alive Really stunning capture congratulations Tarquin Shaw-Young FEAA
