I suspected that there was some clever photoshop work at play here as the image seemed a little too perfect for me. On closer inspection I realise there was some definite skullduggery. That said, I think the composition is great (other than the leaf leaving the frame on the left), colour and detail spot on, and use of bokeh and the water droplet interesting. Well done.

What I liked about this image was how beautiful the red colour comes through on the head of the mushroom. It also instantly reminded me of my early years playing Super Mario, so trigger a positive emotion. Well done!

The use of the moss and grass in the foreground, the use of bokeh and the dark green background, and finally the use of warm light coming through. I get a sense of peace and tranquility when I look at this and for this reason, you gained first place. Well done!

I get a sense of peace and tranquility when I look at this. My only criticism would be to use a longer shutter to soften the water even more. But it works very well with the ripple too. Well done!
