Get Creative with Everyday Objects

What a great image. I have seen many images of pears personified in human form but this image I would put as top grade. What makes this image so special is the creative process and the attention to detail. The composition and lighting are excellent. The detail in the book is remarkable, The nudes, portrayed in black and white with the photographers titles and page numbers, great touch. Well done and congratulations on being my number one selection.

This image is all about light and shadow and it has been expertly handled. I like the lighting on the cup with the handle nicely positioned. The shadow from the spoon reaching the highlight under the saucer. The long strip of light across the table cloth which gives texture to the image. The plate and bowl are well positioned in a more subdued light, adding to the composition but not distracting from the cup. Great job, well done and congratulations on making my top ten selection.

A very clever image. The runner flipped and resized turns a very good image of some brush bristles into a very dramatic and memorable fine art. The placement of the runners is essential for the composition and I think you have got it spot on. I also like that you have placed two of the runners slightly behind the bristles giving a greater dimension. I like the sepia tone and the lighting from the top. A very unusual shot that was captured at the critical moment. The composition is excellent with the shampoo stream flowing to the left crossing the glass and forming a drip on the left. The fact that it crosses a bubble on route is remarkable. This is the type of shot that you want to get right first time due to the clean up factor.
