Is this a double exposure or is it just a slow shutter speed? I don't know, but whatever it is it's a great image. It really gives me the feeling of a great concert. Colors and composition are great and technically you nailed it perfectly. One minor detail: It seems that there is quite a lot of sensor dust that should have been cloned out - most noticeable in the top left corner.
There are some nice things to say about this picture: Great contact between the two musicians - as a viewer I can almost feel the intensity between the two and hear how they are playing together. But, in my opinion the picture has been ruined in post. Why the partial color on the sax player - and why the white vignette? I know this is mainly a matter of taste - but had this been plain black and white I would have commended it. As it looks here I can't do that - even though there is, as mentioned, something very nice about it.

Concert photography can be exciting and fun, but the low-level lighting and general crowdedness can prove to be challenging elements for even the veteran photographer. To help with this, try equipping yourself with a fast lens that allows for more light to enter the camera sensor, and make sure you get to the venue nice and early so you can choose a spot with a good view of the action. Be prepared... and enjoy the show!
This picture caught my eye from the very beginning. It really captures what it's like to be in the crowd at a great concert - the essence of the experience. It's captured in the right moment with the performer standing on top of the crowd, the confetti in the air and the audience reaching out for him. On top of that the colors and composition are great. A very worthy winner :)

A very eye catching picture. I love the centered and almost symmetrical composition with the main artist in the sportlight and the rest of the performers as silhouettes in the background. Technically it's a great capture. It's not an easy task to get the exposure right with stagelight like this, but here the photographer has nailed it to perfection. One small thing: I would love to see this without the logo in the top - or at least without the semi transparent band covering the top of the picture. It ruins the experience a bit, and without that it would probably have won.
So much to look at here - it's almost overwhelming. The picture reminds me of some of Andreas Gursky's work - like his pictures from stock exchanges around the world. I really like that the picture was taken during practice with the musicians in their daily clothes and not their black and whit concert clothes. And yes, this means that this might not fit the contest brief 100% - but I choose to ignore that in this case as I just love the picture.
