This is a beautiful and delicate still life that shows a perfume bottle in its captivating form - in a reflection. The setting of the subject works really well and there is a really nice balance in the composition. You did a really good job on mirroring the bottle also from below: this is what made even reacher the final result. It’s really hard to work with glasses using the Light Paiting technique because some mirror images are really annoying. In this photo I see the particular skill of the photographer who handled the final result with a certain skill.
This image shows a really simple subject but the way in which it is showed brings me to give a prize to this picture. Even if made with a High Key fixed key, I can see clearly the well defined glass on the clear background that made me understand that this picture was really well made. Simplicity and elegance are catching. The pink flower that pomps out from the glass it’s a bit incongruous but it’s its position that makes this picture a pop image.
In this picture I was impressed by the vibrating colors and their tidiness. The feeling of something joyful and happy. Probably, I would frame a picture like this and I would put it home. The bold and contrasting colors are wonderfully accented by the black background, that assures that the focus is completely on the subjects. The aperture guarantees the clearness from the front to the back and the added sprayed water droplets is a nice structural addition.
Sometimes it might be hard to obtain a visually pleasing arrangement where you set objects in a composition like this but but the way the bottles have been arranged with their alternating heights across the width of the frame seems to work well, and I’d say the same on the color arrangement. On a first look, it might seem like a classic and simple still life but something really artistic captured my attention. Could it be the unique color range throughout the photo that makes it seem almost monochromatic and therefore very captivating? Or is it the background of a window that gives a certain rhythm to the composition? Probably both.
I have to tell you something in confidence: the picture hit me so much that my idea didn’t change from the first time that I saw it. I chose this picture to be the winner of the first place for different reasons: it has a particular traditional contemporarity, a great composition, a perfect technique and a post production that defines a pronounced character. Thanks to this things, is it possible to see the stronf personality of the photographer, his personal fingerprint and a perfect theme interpretation. The excellent low key reading is it done in its "natural" environment. The glass is perfectly focused even if the picture is made with a very wide aperture. Congrats for your winning picture!
