Thank you for submitting this excellent example of a traditional orange-colored Erembe headpiece,. I love how hairstyle indicatives age and social status within the Himba community. The sculpted sheepskin that adorns this woman, along with the many streams of braided hair proclaim that. she is married, and most likely a mother. Beautiful woman and excellent photograph.

The eye is immediately drawn to this dancers. beautiful jet black hair and floral crown. The white flowers contrast nicely with the dark hair, and the black and white color scheme with red and green accents is echoed nicely in her traditional costume, .The floral crown is the perfect accent for the dress. The dancers expression shows concentration and focus, presumably for an upcoming competition or performance. Lovely capture; thank you for sharing.

This fuchsia headdress commands attention even amidst the brilliant muti-coloured hues of the background. It is flamboyant and full of the energy so typical of carnival. The model seems totally at ease in the headdress, and I love her hot pink eyeshadow and lipstick that mimics the color of her hair accessories. The pink necklace adds the perfect finishing touch. Great capture!

This portrait is exactly what I was hoping to find in a contest calling for hair accessories. Congratulations! Everything in this photograph strikes a perfect balance. The floral crown which adorns the model's head is neither overtly flamboyant nor overly demur. The headdress demands attention, but is perfectly balanced by the bold shell necklace and earrings which help create a frame of the model's face. The model's gaze and smile seem natural and appear both flirtatious and innocent at the same time. I call it the "goldilocks effect" because everything is just right. Thank you for your submission.
