Hot Summer Days

It's the quirky, composition and vibrancy of this seaside scene that is so appealing. This is a street photography type of image that probably wouldn't suit a monochrome look as it's the strong, saturated colours that make it work so well. Great observation and well captured!

A delightful observation of a classic British seaside image that could easily pass for a scene taken in the 1950s or 1970s! Street photography such as this is often depicted in black & white. I wonder if this would benefit from such treatment.

It's a sure sign of summer when these little creatures are busy at work. This a superbly composed and detailed portrait of one of nature's unsung heroes, with the entire head in sharp focus, despite the extremely shallow depth of field associated with macro photography.
