The soft silky material they wrapped in also provides for a tenderness to the image. The soft, demure nature of the image provides for a very creative tenderness between the couple. Firstly thank you for entering my challenge. The apt title and the play on the many meanings and connotations behind the theme of black and white make this an exceptional image. The thought and creativity involved is astounding as we reflect on the various aspects of both the paint being black and white as well as the couple coming from different racial groups goes to prove that despite all, love will always win against the various barriers. The couple look very much in love with heads touching awaiting the birth of a child they both created.
