Iceland

This image particularly stood out for me because of its mood, I felt the "chill" viewing this image. Congratulations to the photographer for capturing and processing this image in such way. Glaciers are one of the important parts of Iceland and I'm happy to see this image on my contest.

There were many great entries in this contest and certainly difficult to choose a winner. But this landscape image is so amazing, this image truly speaks what Iceland is all about! Huge landscape with iconic Kirkjufell, Northern Lights, Clouds and Snow, what more could I ask for?! Well composed and well-captured frame. Congratulations!

Beautifully captured image of the ice cave showing sapphire blue ice all around. I liked the inclusion of a human element that gives a sense of scale. The light is perfect and well balanced. The contrast is adding a punch to the image together with the yellow jacket of the person that stands out. Overall a very good composition. Congratulations!

Another Marvel form Iceland. The scale of this image is just outstanding! I loved how this image is captured. This image could create more impact if processed well, but anyway, it speaks for its volume. Certainly a true Icelandic beauty. Congratulations to the photographer!

Another beauty that needs to be seen by anyone visiting Iceland. Iceland is not only about snow and ice, but, it also has active lava fields, geothermal areas that are equally beautiful and important to visit. This one was easy for me to put on my top 3. A well thought and well-composed image. I also loved the mood and smok on the horizon in this image. Congratulations!

A very soothing image after seeing so many ice and snow images - which were not bad. But composition wise this image is an excellent image. I can see the horizon far away on the left side and iconic Seljalandsfoss Waterfall on right, creating a sense of scale and gigantic landscape. The moody sky adds drama in the image. Congratulations!
