New Orleans is celebrating its 300th birthday this year. I want to see your best photos from the Big Easy. The only two limits are photos must be in colour and taken in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The best photos will be those that immediately make a person say, “Yes, that is New Orleans.” Subject matter could include Music (Cajun, Creole, Jazz, Zydeco); Food (crawdad, beignets); 2nd Line Parades; Jazz Funeral; Mardi Gras Parades; Mardi Gras Indians; Bourbon Street Bars; Frenchman Street Music Clubs; Cemeteries; Voodoo; Balconies; Garden District Homes; Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath; or anything else people will recognize as Iconic New Orleans.
Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
