Identical

The macro world can often be sharp and brutal to delve in to when it comes to insects. This is quite the opposite. Beautifully delicate with a selective and soft trio of colours. It's very pretty indeed and makes us look at these little twin-like animals with a sense of wonder as they go about their work on the field of clone-like flowers. Well done!

A stand out image here. Love the futuristic yet retro nature of the repeating shapes and vibrant colours as they fall away to the horizon in unison. Feels like a digital Tron-like world that has warmth brought to it by the miandering couple headed towards the camera. Particularly like the tiny detail of the vegetation creeping around the light towards the right side of the frame. There's a few other examples of how nature dots itself around in the image that really adds further quality. If this photo had a soundtrack it would have an 80's beat. A treat!

To have two drone photos in the top three says a lot about how the world of photography is evolving. This is a perfect example of the brief and remains mathmatically correct all round while keeping a wonderful natural beauty about in the process. The sunlight is delicious and perfectly balanced and the movement coming from the dust compliments this. More importantly, there is a lot that can be debated on with regards to the subject matter and our present realationship with our world. Congrats on a wonderful photograph.

There is a good amount of homework and effort that has gone in to this shot. Beautiful lead-ins to that sunrise at just the right time as it breathes colour on to the horizon - perfectly between equadistant and perfectly uniform rail tracks. The mist is still settled and is a great nest for those ominous looking identical telegraph poles. The blacks are super rich and really compliment the razor sharp silver lines that cut through those many clone like sleepers. Great to see more photos from drones in the competitions. Congratulations, you smashed the brief creatively and the effort paid off.

The sunshine is showing off in this frame and has been taken advantage of very well. Stunning contrasts between the red and the blacks. Any more symmetry would nudge it towards the contrived. It remains natural and has a lovely peacefulness about it. A nice find well shot.
