Took me a long time to understand what this shot was, looked like a painting, then paint, but reading the description, its pattern of nature under the ice, what a plot twist. Gorgeous shapes, the colors all complement each other, you can't tell what you see and you can help but look at it. Great eyes to spot this one and great work enhancing this beauty.

I really appreciate how the spider web itself is the focus of the shot. The intrisic architecture of each part of the web it's glorious in this shot. The architecture of the structure in the middle, as a grounding center of art, lasting for years, with importance all around it. It really shows how art can be composed in so many different ways. The photo tells a story, it feels like a sad one, her eyes stare at your soul, it's hard to look for too long.
