Firstly, thank you for entering photocrowd's premium competition-Indigenous People. The tree on the right hand side of the image forces the image of the girl into the rule of thirds which places the main topic of interest slightly off center. The muted expression of the girl also tends to be captivating including excellent eye contact with the photographer at hand. One feels as if she is gazing directly at you. The usage of lighting is also excellent . The flowers in her hair tend to add an extra touch of interest which is slightly unusual but adds as a point of interest. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering photocrowd's premium challenge- Indigenous people. The clarity of the image is perfect and one can virtually traces the pores on the skin. The presence of the pipe with it's alluring smoke also tends to enhance the image.. Her far off gaze as she smokes makes us wonder as to what she is thinking. The answer to this - we shall , of course never know. The shoulder of another individual in the bottom right hand corner is a slight distraction but not as much so as to distract from the image in general. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering phototcrowd's premium competition- Indigenous People. The usage of light is fantastic as well as the unique expression upon the woman's face. The earing creates a point of interest without distracting from the main point of interest- that of the Suri woman. The usage of blue and greens on the shawl could've also been replaced by more earthy colours but that is the prerogative of the photographer at hand. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering photocrowd's premium competition- Indigenous People. The composition of the image is excellent and is enhanced by the material so held over the Arbore woman's head. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering photocrowd's premium competition - Indigenous People. This is a very captivating image of a senior citizen. This image is based primarily all upon the lighting. The lamp casts a beautiful yellow tone over the entire image which works well against the tone of the skin and the wide brim of the hat. The deep shadows throughout the image tend to provoke a sense of intrigue. The blue and yellow tones tend to blend in perfectly with the image as a whole. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering photocrowd's premium competition- Indigenous People. The connected feeling one tends to get upon viewing is enhanced by the animal skin binding the Ethiopian's together. One tends to get a feeling that these are either siblings or very close friends .The composition with their arms wrapped around each other gives one a feeling a family and protection. The beautiful natural lighting also tends to enhance the image. The plain black background also tends to bring the boys to the foreground more so than would have otherwise been the case. Congratulations and well done!

Indigenous peoples are defined by Wikipedia as “culturally distinct ethnic groups who are native to a place which has been colonised and settled by another ethnic group. Peoples are usually described as "indigenous" when they maintain traditions or other aspects of an early culture that is associated with a given region, although not all Indigenous peoples share this characteristic, as many have adopted substantial elements of a colonizing culture, such as dress, religion or language. It is estimated that there are approximately five thousand Indigenous nations throughout the world.”
