I love the light and colours in this shot. The vignette draws the eye in above the worshippers to the bright light source in the alcove above them. While some may not agree, I would have been tempted to Photoshop out the video screens at the sides, in my view they distract from the timeless elegance of the mosque interior. Otherwise, a lovely shot.

It's hard to go wrong with a face so full of character! You have done well to frame the subject before the moment passed, and the narrow depth of field is perfectly judged with the subject in sharp focus. The black and white treatment gives this a timeless quality and to me typifies the heart and soul of rural Indonesia. I would be proud to have taken this photo! Well done.

A different view from most shots taken at Mt Bromo! I love the gentle muted colours and the contrast between the fog-filled crater and the softer bands of fog just clearing from the village. The sweeping curve of the crater rim leads the eye towards the more rugged peaks in the top left. Lovely work.

The fabled Spice Islands of old, now a republic spanning thousands of islands, and home to everything from the megapolis of modern Jakarta to the simplest of villages where time has stood still for centuries. Wildlife abounds - from primitive Komodo dragons to our cousins, the Orangutan. From the tourist mecca of Bali to the highest foggy volcanic peak, Indonesia is a feast for the camera. Out of this variety, we want you to submit the image that to you most clearly typifies Indonesia.

Photographing the participants at a tourist performance is certainly no easy task, but you have captured a lovely mood in this photo. I particularly like the colour of the man's face in the lamplight. However, the very high ISO has meant that the lights themselves are overblown, and the very slight blur of the face and the hat detract from an otherwise evocative image. Nice work!

My friend the professional underwater photographer tells me that this is a technically challenging shot. She says that this fish is tiny and that to capture it in such excellent focus is worthy of recognition. Apparently even more desirable is to photograph this fish directly head on, but this is well deserving of commendation. Well done!
