Firstly, thank you for entering my competition. You have captured scene that was made for infrared photography and have composed the shot very well. You have resisted the temptation to colour the foliage red and your processing of it balances nicely with the dark blue sky and water. The aspect ratio also emphasises the shape of the buildings.
Firstly, thank you for entering my contest. For me, your image highlights the potential of using infrared for landscape photography. Firstly, the detail in the foliage and especially in the clouds makes this a standout image. That you have resisted the temptation with infrared to colour the foliage shades of red and this links the with the masonry that frames the whole image; I don't know whether it was there or you added it in later but it doesn't matter, it makes the deservedly the winning image!

Firstly, thank you for entering my competition. I particularly enjoyed the composition with the water coming in from the bottom right and leading to the wider expanse of water with the hint of a reflection. The fens are not an easy subject for landscape, with no hills to add interest and lots and lots of sky. That you used the foliage and tree dominate the left hand side of the image and your use of the portrait orientation of the image has created a great fenland landscape!

Firstly, thank you for entering my competition. I particularly liked the composition, the more distant buttes framed by the larger, closer ones. you have use of infrared has brought out the texture of the rocks and helped to create a dramatic sky. It is not a location that I have visited but I will put it on my list for my next visit to the USA.
Meet the judge
Firstly, thank you for entering my competition and congratulations on having two images in my top ten! I particularly like the symmetry you have created by making the right hand side of the image a mirror image of the left. It did take me a bit of time to see what you have done. It does make an interesting and, unsurprisingly, balanced panorama.
