Inspired by... James Bond

This image took me back the Bond movies from the 1970s and Live and Let Die in particular. .

I was looking for different interpretations of the theme and was drawn to this shot as it is fun and could easily imagine this car being driven by one the cartoon style baddies of that more light hearted era.

This wonderful take on the iconic James Bond opening sequence really stood out for me and went straight into my top batch. Superbly executed and imaginative abstract image with the inclusion of the person providing a great focal point.

There were a number of entries where the image depicted a representation of James Bond himself. This one stood out for me due to the lighting and atmosphere.

The image has a cinematic feel and atmosphere and the subject has a suave demeanor so enjoyed this shot.

I wasn't surprised that a lot of entries featured the famous Aston Martin and other cars and in fact used the same as my competition banner!

With so many, it wasn't easy to pick out one. The reason I went for this one is that it is beautifully crisp and of course is the iconic silver DB5.

I liked this interpretation of the theme and was certainly one of the most original entries.

This image is superbly executed and the lighting is very well done. The scene conjures up images of the stealthy side of Bond, maybe breaking into the villain's lair to steal the secret plans!
