What first caught my eye with this image was the beautiful lighting of this incredibly peaceful and serene image. After that comes the emotion the image portrays to the viewer. One of wonder and amazement of nature at its most natural. Its incredibly hard to make nature look great in black and white but I think it actually adds to this image.
Such a beautiful scene. The image gives a sense of wonder and an serenity on this perfect calm morning. I particularly like the way the mist has been captured and provides a sense of movement to the viewer. I think that the panoramic crop was a good choice as the background not shrouded in mist would have distracted from the foreground.
