Just Two

A very expressive street/portraiture image, with the expressions of the subjects really drawing you in. Neither subject is looking at the lens and this leads the viewer to try to picture what is happening. The man seems to be addressing and gesturing to someone positioned to the right. The colors are excellent and the attire interesting.The man's eyes are carefully positioned on the rule of thirds and this is aided by the edge of the wall. The black background around the female gives her a strong presence.. I was very impressed by this image, well done and congratulations on making my top ten selection.

Beautiful shot of this playful duel.. I like the monotone warm orange of the sunset creating the spectacular rim lighting of the fur. The foxes are positioned to give a nice symmetry to the image. Great shot and congratulations on being in my top ten selection.

A very smart image with a matching title, this is not a photo that you pass by. The symmetry and diagonal composition work very well. The red adds to to the interest as do the wiggly type seeds. Very creative and congratulations on making my top ten selection.

A excellent contemporary still life of two complementary items. The backlit transparent teapot and teacup look very sharp against the blue background. I like the clean cool simplicity and the strong symmetry formed with the reflections. A strong well considered composition with the base edges directing the eye into the image. Wonderful action shot of two fighting birds. I like the low ground perspective that takes full advantage of the disturbed water giving some drama to the image. The long focal length has made a warm out of focus backdrop allowing the viewer to fully appreciate the composition and drama. Nice capture and congratulations on being my number one selection.
