This is a fabulous image. We love how the water droplets have been sorted by size with the vast majority of the smaller ones being at the top with a clear line between them. Your fridge light has illuminated the scene well, giving a nice dark ring at the base of each droplet and a highlight near the top.

This image made us all smile, it's well-thought and brilliantly executed.. The background 'mountain' really pulls the whole image together making a cohesive scene. and you feel like the cyclist is pedalling through a mountain range. What great use of bread and cream cheese!

Your lighting is perfect here! It brings out the texture and form of the cabbage leaf but it's nice and soft so the shadows are subtle rather than deep black. We love the square composition and straight-on shooting angle which helps to make the shot feel like an aerial image of a strange landscape.

We saw lots of cheese graters and colanders in this round the competition and it took us a moment to realise that this was something different. The curved lines across the corner of the frame make the composition more interesting and caught our eyes.

This is an intriguing and attractive image that must have taken some time to set up and capture so effectively. The light at the base of the straws adds a nice glow, boost the colours and helps to give the closest edge of the straws definition.

Your timing is perfect, another few seconds and that butter would've melted into the crumpet and been invisible apart from slight shine. It helps to make the crumpet's surface recognisable, otherwise, we could be looking at some coral or a sponge.

After looking at this image for quite some time, we think we are looking at a cheese-grater but we're not sure, which makes it more interesting. We like the regular patterning with the bumps getting smaller and softer towards the distance.

A fascinating vegetable that deserves the close attention you have afforded it. Your use of soft side lighting has brought out the texture and form of all the small details. to emphasise the patterns. It looks like part of an iguana or starfish!

You must have had fun thinking this up and then building it. We love the interaction between the workers, there's a real sense of activity. The snow on the ground with all the footprints is an excellent touch that adds to the image.

Basil is so delicate and with a spray of water, it looks delightfully fresh in your photograph. The strong side lighting in your image has brought out the water droplets and emphasised the texture of the leaves so they look market-ready.

We like both versions of this image, but we think this one really stands out because of your use of red light. It's a well-spotted image and we like how the light falls away from right to left so that only the contours of the lettering are visible on the left side.

The black border around this image works very well, connecting the wire of the egg slicer and pulling it all together. We also think the black and white conversion works well as it brings out the shadows and shape of the slicer.
