Such an exquisite image, well deserving of the 1st award in this competition. lone tree reflected in the waters of Lough Nacung with the majestic Errigal in the background. This is a well compsed shot, carefully balanced and the processing is well executed. The colour palette is gorgeous. Th only tiny thing i might have done is remove the house on the left edge. or crop it out but it doesnt detract from the image too much. Overall the image sums up a serene and peacfull Irish landscape and fits the bill of this contest's theme perfectly

At the iconic wreck of the Sunbeam, the whispers of history echo in the sea breeze, adding a sense of mystique to the scene. Utilizing a small aperture and a reversed ND grad filter, the photographer achieved a stunning depth of field and balanced exposure across the scene.The composition of the photo is striking, with the wreck positioned prominently against the backdrop of the beach and the distant horizon with a starburst captured from the sun dipping below the horizon. This is a well executed photo and deserves 2nd place.

There have been so many photos taken in this spot, it is testament of this photographers skill that they have produced a different and captivating scene that is very well composed and processed. This is a very nice shot exposed perfectly to produce a unique image. I particularly like how framed darker tones encroach around the edges, a gentle contrast to the sliver tableau within. Towering barks arch overhead, their graceful forms reaching skyward, arching and tangled against the golden autumn leaves, some trunks adorned with with a delicate tracery of lichen and ivy. Lovely shot, and well done

I was immediately drawn to this long exposure photograph of Crohy Sea Arch at sunset during the golden hour, where time seems to slow down, allowing for a mystical tranquility to unfold before the lens. The photo is perfectly balanced with the vibrant sky, adorned with hues of gold, tangerine, and indigo as the sun bids farewell to the day. The arch remains the focal point, drawing the viewer's gaze and illuminated by the warm, copper light of the setting sun.

I love the colour palette in this simple composition. it is a well executed slow exposure. It nicely blurs the water movement and creates a lovely reflection for the setting burst of sunlight on the shore. The rock in the foreground is nicely exposed revealing the detail in the shadows, and the movement in the clouds and water serve as a nice counterpoint to the sharp detail in the rocks and headland.

Great movement in the clouds over Pine Island, yet a still water surface creates a nice reflection. Well done on removing the ghastly power lines that pass over the scene.. Beautiful image. The cloud movement serve as a series of leading lines into the focal area and the colours in the sky of gold and blue complement each other.
