**Open to photographers with a bronze ranking. There are two other 'Large depth of field' contests currently open to other ranks. Take a look at the <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/leaderboard/">leaderboard</a> for more information on Photocrowd rankings.** In photography, a depth of field relates to the distance around the plane of focus where objects appear acceptably sharp. Therefore, a large depth of field shows a broader area that has clear and focused subjects, as opposed to a shallow depth of field.
