I love this image for so many reasons. The composition. The playing soccer/football (or the suggestion of) despite the mud. The laughter and sheer happiness in amazing. Congratulations on your winning image. I'd love to see this image in color as well as the black and white. I bet it holds up well given the overall monochrome feel.
I love this image that portrays laughter as authentically and as possible. Grandma at her 90th. Congratulations and Happy Birthday. Your winning laughter has brought us all a bit of comfort. While this image lacks a strong composition and can be busy, it is truly a window into a life as seen through a family member or close relatives eyes.

Or for more documentary and street style imagery it’s being in the right place when the scene explodes in mirth. Either way, it produces wonderfully unrestrained and appealing imagery, and welcome reminders of the happier side of life.
