Leopard in a tree

Beautiful eyes, and a very relaxed pose. Another great capture with composition, lighting and focus coming together really well. Good depth of field, and out of focus background make this a lovely image.

I would love to see a colour version of this. Nice to have the close up of predator and prey, and composition and lighting work well. It looks like the shadows and background highlights were well handled. I like the look on the leopard's face.

It's all in the eyes. Great composition, and focus. Perfect lighting, and the depth of field works very well. There were some very good entries to the competition (and the odd Cheetah thrown in!), but for me this was the outstanding image.

Lovely image capturing a very relaxed but alert looking cat. As with all my favourite leopard photos, the eyes tell the story.
