Lots of people love life on board - whether sailing in a yacht, living it up around the world on a giant cruise ship, or passing the months in a canal boat, happily moored by the towpath and growing a herb garden on the roof. All have their own unique adaptations, styles and ways of passing the time, and are each quite different from life on terra firma.
