This category welcomes photographs that illustrate the incredible richness of the underwater world, both in terms of aquatic landscapes and the wildlife inhabiting the ocean.
The Award offers an €11,000 prize fund, inclusion in an exclusive exhibition in Monaco, and trips for the Grand Prize winner to the launch of the exhibition in Monaco, and to visit the Amazon Research Station of the University of Ecuador, to do a photo documentary in the field, in the heart of the Ecuadorian jungle. Shortlisted photographers will also be published in the PA2F Environmental Photography Award book.
