Light at night

In association with Lume Cube

Open Rating Results
Brief

Everything looks different at night. Sights that may seem quite pedestrian during the day can suddenly be transformed by illuminations and brightly lit structures. The main challenge to capturing 'light at night' is in getting the right exposure; but with perseverance and a good grounding in your camera's basic settings, you'll be well on your way to masterful nighttime shots.

Winners will receive a Lume Cube + Hot Shoe Mounts ($99.99 USD) and Light-House & Diffusers ($49.99 USD).

Prize details

Lume Cube will be giving away $300-worth of their acclaimed lighting products to the winners of the expert-judged category (judged by leading photographer Matt Kloskowski) and the crowd-vote. Our winners will receive a Lume Cube + Hot Shoe Mounts ($99.99 USD) and Light-House & Diffusers ($49.99 USD).

How it works

Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.

Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
