I love the look of this Lion as he walks straight towards the camera The side light of the early morning or late evening sun adds to the mystery of this big cat. What is it that he is seeking?
I like the portrait orientation the photographer chose to go with. The Lion stands out with the soft single colour background and foreground
Congratulations on 2nd
An excellent photo of this Lioness with the throat clamp. The dust flying adds to the sense of motion suggesting the Lioness may have just managed to clamp down on the warthog or the warthog is tyring to break free.
The photographer has done well to make sure the shutter speed was high and captured a tack sharp photo
Congratulations on 3rd

Thank you for entering my contest. I feel compelled to comment on this photo as my comments have been deleted by the photographer on more than one occasion.
A Lioness shot at 25mm equivalent fills the frame!!!
While I have nothing against composites, Photocrowd provides photographers a section to detail their post processing work. I am of the opinion that photographers need to use this rather than fool the crowd
