I really love this image, worthy entrant into the top 10 for this competition. I like the chaoticness and simplisticness of this image in equal measure. It looks like an explosion, I a pretty sure it is a black and white image and I think this is a great choice of colouring. Good work !

I can imagine being on this beach from the look of this image. The colours are really stunning and the longer exposure really captures the movement of the wave. The amount of time spent to capture this image was probably pretty long, but this shot is great, well done.

Great composition for this shot, everything from the lighting to the choice of background is well executed. It is s shame that there isn't much information on the camera used or what the shutter speed was. I would be interested to know this. Very worthy of a top 10 slot.

A really good shot, and really good focus on the subject, managing to get the hand and the water in focus. The driving down of the hand really adds to the motion of the water. Another worth top 10 position shot.

This is a great image, and a worthy winner of this competition. The setup alone for this image is something else. As a photographer you're always looking for new compositional elements to really make an image stand out and this has all of them and it really is great. I'd love to know more of the setup and how many shots it took to get this right.

Well done.

***This contest is open to subscribers (members on the Challenger, Pro and Master subscription tiers). However if you're not a paying subscriber you can still purchase entries for £2 (GBP) per image.*** One of the most rewarding aspects of photographing liquids is that no two images are ever the same. As a non-solid, liquid can fill or take the shape of any form, often so quickly that we barely have time to notice. The ability to photograph liquid in motion takes patience and a good amount of technical knowledge, but the results can be spectacular.

Unfortunately there were lots of images like this submitted to this competition. It does take a lot of skill to capture this, but I think there could have been more thought on thinking outside the box when it comes to composition.
