Living Bats

What a beautiful black and white image of a bat. I love the tones, especially in the wings. There was not many black and white images that caught my eye but this one really did and became my favourite bat shot. Well done for getting 1st place.

This is a really cute image of a bat. I also love how you have caught the bat hanging in a very different way to a lot of the others that have been photographed. The green colours and depth of field also help make this image great.

This image is totally different to a lot of the rest and that is because of the shadows cast onto the wings. Not sure if you have placed the light to create the shadows or if the shadows were already there from artificial light but either way it works really well and makes me love this image. Well done for being in my top 10.

This is such an impressive photograph of a flying bat. You have caught the shape of the bat perfectly and the wings look so impressive. I also think where you have placed the bat in the frame works perfectly. This is why out of the flying shots of bats, yours got placed in 2nd place of my top 10.

This is a great image with the way that the wings are lit up and part silhouetted. Its great to see 3 bats all flying with different wing positions. It is such a shame that one of the wings of the bat has been cut off and there is a strange shadow on one of the wings? I think without that and the wing being not cut off, this could have made my top 10. But impressive to get 3 bats flying like that. Well done.
