This is a very interesting shot with a composition slightly out of the ordinary portrait. Whereas the main subject is clearly the lady wearing hat and glasses, the lady in the foreground, with her back to the viewer, certainly adds mystique to the image. So much so, that I found myself zooming into the sunglasses in hope to catch a glimpse of her in the reflection. I approve of the choice of having this shot presented in black and white, as it mutes potential clashing colours and other distractions that can occur in street photography. A beautifully executed portrait, well done!
The contrast between the clown glasses and the subject's serious, almost sad face, confer a note of irony to this shot that I very much appreciate. I love how the background blur minimises any distractions, allowing the viewer's attention to focus solely on the subject. It's a simple portrait with character, and technically very well executed. What more to ask for? Well done!

**This contest is open to photographers ranked 1000+ in this week’s Leaderboard.** Gone are the days when wearing glasses was uncool. Just check out how many people wear glasses with no prescription for a bit of fun and a change of look! If you’ve spent time taking portraits of people in glasses then you’ll know that reflections off the glasses can be an interesting and sometimes infuriating issue to solve. We’re not advising you to pop the lenses out of your subject’s expensive glasses, but it has been known as a solution. This is a portraiture contest where your main subject should be wearing some specs, and should be the main focus of the image, not just some incidental character in a larger scene please.
