This contest is for your monochrome low key photos. A low key image is one that contains predominantly dark tones, conveying atmosphere and mood. Where a high-key image feels airy and light, a low key is usually dramatic and full of mystery. This does not mean that you should not allow the tones to reach pure white, but that the majority of the image should be toward the dark end of the scale (zones 0 to 3 or 4, if you use that system).
