This image shows great understanding of light ratios and shaping.
The lady is beautifully lit and posed and my attention is pulled directly to her and the dress.
The small accent of light on the gentleman in the background is just enough to then draw my eye towards him whilst not immediately distracting me from the lady in the chair. His pose has an air of masculinity and power which contrasts beautifully with the still powerful, but more delicate pose of the lady.
The warm tones mirror that of the wood and leather and give the image an inviting and luxurious feel to it.
Great shot.

I love the way this shot has taken a section of the aeroplane and almost turned it in to an abstract piece of art.
The reflection on the wing of the windows is a great way to draw the viewer's eye up in to the centre of the frame.
The shot is well balanced, and the blue sky provides a splash of colour whilst allowing the plane to remain the centre of attention. I think if there had been clouds in the sky, the shot would have lost some of its appeal and simplicity.
Great work.

I really like where this shot is going, the angle is dramatic and the sunburst in the background is very striking. When photographing cars it is important to spend a few minutes walking around them to see which angles work the best and which don't. Much like people, cars have good sides and bad sides and sometimes just shifting your framing a few feet up or down can make all the difference. In this case, I think the car would have photographed better if the camera had been a little higher so that we see more of the roof and windscreen. You'd still get the sun burst in the background and we'd also see a little more of the amazing location. Great effort nonetheless.
The simplicity of this shot really speaks to me. A lot of the best advertising images are very simple. This goes to show that with something as iconic as the Porsche badge, less is often more.
The water droplets absolutely make this shot. They add a sense of dynamism and interest to what would otherwise have been a little too plain.
If I were to change anything, I would suggest lighting the badge from the top, rather than bottom, as it almost looks like the water is running up the image, which confuses my brain a little as I naturally expect water to run down the bonnet.
Other than that, the exposure, composition and colours are great and make for a really strong, striking image.
Where do I start?! The composition is bang on here, with lovely lines and angles working together in harmony. The colours are so vibrant yet earthly- the brown building and green trees are organic and natural and even the pop of the man-made pool blends seamlessly with the vast ocean.
The lady in the background works perfectly as a reference for scale and adds a human element to the image, which makes me want to be there myself - an empty architectural image wouldn't have evoked the same aspirational feeling I have when looking at this shot.
Having shot at car shows and museums myself, I know how difficult it can be to get a clear and clean image of the cars with everything else going on around.
This shot is a great way to cut out that noise and really highlight the car. By selectively highlighting the Ferrari's beautiful red paintwork the rest of the image fades away and leaves me concentrating on what was intended. The epic La Ferrari!
Great work on this one, really like the contrast.
This shot just makes me want to grab my swim shorts and head to the beech for an ice cold beer!
Constructive criticism would be about the framing of the shot. I feel like the crop could have been tighter and placed the glass more the right of the frame to make more of the leading line of the tree on the left and remove some of the dead space on the right of the image.
The colours, the light, the composition - it oozes summer vibes and good times.
The exposure is perfect, with the sky popping from the frame and the details in the shadows still retained.
As an advertising photographer I am naturally drawn towards this type of shot, featuring a considerable amount of post production.
If I was to provide constructive criticism it would be that I am not totally sold on the model's pose and expression. Looking at the narrative, she is in a classic car out in the desert somewhere. But I cannot read her expression to give me a clue about the rest of the story.
Aside from that, this is a beautifully executed image. The lighting on her face is soft and flat, which you would expect for the inside of a vehicle out of direct sunlight (which is clearly intended to be from behind).
The depth of field is enough to draw my gaze through the windscreen, past her hand on the wheel and to her face.
The compositing work of the background is done to a high standard and the angle of the plate shot matches well with the one of the car.
The colours are great and the lens flare above the car gives the feeling that this is more of a snapshot moment, contrasting nicely with the considered lighting on the model and car.

Sometimes all of the planets align and create beautiful moments like this. I absolutely love the mist sitting on top of the lake, it takes this shot from good to great.
The composition is lovely too, obeying the rule of thirds to the letter, and although I think that rule is there to be broken, this shows exactly why it works when followed.
I love images that evoke an emotional response inside of me, and I would love to be sailing this boat around on that lake. It looks so tranquil and beautiful.
Wow...this looks like something from a Disney film! There's not much in the world more luxurious than a palace or castle set in beautiful wooded grounds with a lake.
I love the use of a wide aperture here. It adds depth and intrigue to the shot which would have been lost if shot stopped down.
The swan in the foreground and the coots further back give the image a sense of motion and bring it to life. It's a shame the bridge on the back has people on it, but I don't think it detracts from the overall look. I really like the colours too, a slightly ethereal washed-out tone which makes me think of fairy tales and magical imagery in literature.
This shot shows great creativity. I love the way the strawberries are tumbling and how they are mirrored by the lights in the background.
The fruit themselves are lit well, with the little specular highlights giving them shape and accentuating their texture.
The position, shape and exposure of out of focus lights show a good level of technical ability whilst the vision to include them shows a high level of creativity.
I love the perceived simplicity of this shot, knowing that technically it is fairly advanced.

I like the concept behind this shot. The corks make for an attractive background that adds context to the shot. The lighting on them coming from up high creates lovely shadows which accentuates the textures of the cork.
I feel as though the shot could have been improved with a little more attention to the lighting on the glass in the foreground. Because there are no specular highlights on the glass it almost looks a little murky and the wine spilling out lacks detail. It is also out of focus, which confuses my brain in to what I should be looking at, as naturally I want it to be the glass but my focus is pulled to the cork wall behind.
With a focus shift to the glass and a kick of light coming from camera left I think this shot would be great. Perhaps even nice to see in colour for the richness of the wine.
This concept is brilliant. The reflection of the sunset in the background in the lens works great.
If I was to suggest any changes then I would like to see this shot slightly tighter, so the lens was bigger in the frame and the camera shifted a little to the left to that we see more of the horizon too.
The lighting is great and the exposure is dead on, so a couple of little framing tweaks and this would be awesome.
The colours in this shot are just awesome. The long exposure was a great idea and the fact that the lights from the bus passing behind are also blue to match the Rolls is perfect.
The satin wrap on the car makes for beautiful areas of highlight and shadow, with no ugly reflections from surrounding buildings.
I would love to see this shot slightly wider, so we could see more of the surroundings, although I have a feeling this framing was chosen to hide the (probably a lot less impressive!) cars in front and behind this one.
Great work.
